the market: stocks, bonds, options, whatever

I'm about ready to dump Hershey. Is there a public candy company I should be interested in? Everyone loves candy.

just an opinion,
I see lately that in my country different candy companies are trying to put some vegan jellies/candies on their stock
probably this trend will only go bigger/massively done in the next years.
as people try to eat healthier they probably wouldn't want to eat the usual shit that's inside those candies/jellies.

Glad I didn't cash out my gains from my Bitcoin play the other day for a carton of cigarettes

Bitcoin was 27K when I bought MSTR at 232 and now Bitcoin is 28.5K and MSTR is 284

That's a pretty good way to play Bitcoin without actually owning Bitcoin. MSTR owned over 130K bitcoins and just bought another 6.5K

Got lucky on my MDGL buy yesterday. It's up $9 a share already

Their trials are at least a year ahead of VKTX and they report phase 3 NASH data by the end of this year, and there currently aren't any good FDA approved NASH treatments

Will go up a ton on good data
Since this post MDGL is 238 now from 73

VKTX is 15.50 now from 4

These fatty liver drugs will be big money once FDA approved

Hey where do you all go for financial news? Someplace I can set up a stock news watch list, perhaps. I'm taking a break from Investopedia.

I scroll stocktwits and also search the ticker symbol on Twitter and sort by "latest" for a lot of stocks.

Smaller companies are easier to stay up to date on by just reading their filings and watching their news updates, but when it comes to the fatty liver biotechs, I've been following NASH for almost 10 years so I pretty much already know what the battlefield to FDA approval looks like and the companies involved. MDGL is in the lead now after their phase 3 data in December

A jet fuel refiner I own (BDCO) just reported 2022 results 30 minutes ago and reported $32.9M earnings $2.34 EPS on $487M revenue and it's at $2.44/share.

This could become a monster if they get their debt dealt with. It's only like $36M market cap

Birch Gold. It's a gold backed IRA. But you need a minimum of $10K to invest. Or else I'd be in.

Who has a good mutual fund for retirement savings 20+ yeas out?
Just buy something like IEP that pays 15% dividend and avoid fund management fees, and you can sell it and buy it whenever you want without penalties

There are 20 year retirement funds. Just search for something like "2040 fund" or "2045 fund" and there should be some focused on specific things like dividends, bonds, energy etc. My mother has a fidelity 2030 fund but I can't remember which one

There are allot of them.. so I’m looking for a decent one.

I have to resist the compulsion to throw some into penny mining stocks.
