first time GBL user

well we tried it again last night and didn't get any great effects again

we had 1.6ml to start off with, squirted it into our mouthes and chased with orange juice (horrible taste, almost vomited )

around 30 mins after having it we felt slightly drunk and a little confused/blurry vision but it was very mild and hardly noticable - the equivalent of having say 1 or two alcoholic drinks, certainly not the effects we desired.

after an hour and 20 mins we redosed with .07 ml and then nothing really

i did find it easier to dance and socialise but such small effects were more than likely a placebo.


next time i try it do you reccomend doing 2ml to begin with?
are we only getting small effects because we are first timers? or is it because the gear we're getting is weak/watered down?

Yes, go for the full 2ml . . . you've been very good and safe and been working your way up - that's the way to do it.

You really only have to go through this process with your first sample of a batch - once you've found your 'sweet spot' dosage with this stuff, you'll know how much to take when you pick up the same batch again.

Do you mean freezer? Because B freezes easily in household freezers while gbl and ghb remain liquid. Hope that helps

It will actually freeze in the fridge as 1,4-B in its purest form freezes at 20 degrees celsius.

For the OP - Although old, the Final of the GHB/1,4-B/GBL FAQ contains some good information that may assist in the safe consumption, and possible identification, of the substance you possess.

get some gelatine capsules and drop 2ml in one go, if you can take 1.6 without feeling like you've overdone it 2 will be fine i reckon

wait 15mins then dance like a maniac to your favourite tune then have a wank - so, so, so damn good. G is such a damn good drug when you get it right, me and my mate decided to finish off the last of our last batch by dropping 3mls each in one go, we were so god-damn pissed and smoked about 10 fags each in the space of half an hour :D

the effects can be quite subtle at lower doses, i had 1ml about 20mins ago and can only tell i'm feeling it cos i've had a lot of experience with the drug, but stick at it, i hardly ever drink anymore cos i have G

we ran out about 2 weeks ago and drinking just doesnt cut it! yesterday 3 of us were just wandering around the halls talking to randoms while stoned and G'd, was awesome :D

G only sucks when it turns into a habit . . . withdrawls are HORRIBLE

aside from that, it's my every situation drug, ha ha. Take it at a party, dance have fun, take it at home or a friend's place, chill out, take it with someone hot, get horny, take it after pills, helps me sleep . . . . yay G

problem is the dealer claims to have new stuff he got from someone else... so i guess i have to take it easy again and hopefully find a dose which is good

i'm just going to start with 1.6ml and work my way up from there, because my dealer is still claiming it takes 2ml and then a redose to get high on this gear but if it's a new batch i'm better safe than sorry.

i'm so fucking frustrated, i just want to try this drug already

Look into converting the gbl into na ghb. You can find a synthesis on the int pretty easy. I've made pasta sauces that were more difficult. Trust me, it will be a much better experience.

One could make a good 'batch' with 25ml of GBL BUT if one had say 12.5ml of GBL it could be converted and diluted to 100ml of GHB - This could then be used to dose from 10 - 30ml at a time.

1. put 25ml of GBL in a 100ml PYREX/Borosilicate Flask
2. To 20ml of dH2O add a 12ml measure of NaOH (weight-wise = 13gm however, the measure seems to work beautifully - weight = never tried). As soon as this is added it needs to be stirred or it will form a solid rock that will be hard to break up. WARNING! IT will get VERY HOT! approx 90c THIS IS VERY VERY CAUSTIC!! It will burn like hell - Eye protection is a MUST, gloves would also be worthwhile.
3. When all is dissolved or practically all, pour it ALL into the GBL. Two layers will be visible, a lower milky layer and a higher clear layer. Every 30 seconds or so swirl the flask while on the floor (this stops it sploshing around too much) a carpet is good as it can be kept in contact and swirled nicely.
4. Nothing will happen initially - Do not worry - what is happening is the temperature is gradually increasing until it hits point critical. At this point, steam will be coming out of the top of the flask and condensation will be running down the insides, and small bubbles will be visible in the clear layer - it is near boiling - IT IS CLOSE. Give it another swirl and it will start to boil on its own steam will pour out of the top and it will boil like a maniac for 10 - 15 seconds, when it stops give it another swirl (THE FLASK WILL BE HOT) this will cause it to boil again as it is getting the last unreacted gbl. IT will scare the crap out of you the first few times but eventually you'll know what to expect. CHECK pH - it should be neutral. (these are perfect molar ratios and always return neutral, only fuck ups result in it not being neutral)
5. Now, add 155ml of dH2O and filter into a bottle for storage. ADD BLUE food colouring to stop idiots from dosing peoples drinks (it will however be very salty and will be noticed if one did so).
Final check of pH, it must be neutral!!! (If slightly caustic add dilute HCl acid until neutral - this will result in the neutralising and the creation of salt and water from the combined caustic soda and Hydrochloric acid - so, do not worry)
