With Barbershop 2 opening, now would be a good time to see what people thought of the original.

Barbershop slipped completely under my radar. The first time I heard anything about it was when I turned on the movie channel and it was starting.

I smiled the entire show, laughed out loud, and loved the dialog - especially Cedric The Entertainer. His tirades had me glued to the screen. Particularly the speech about Rosa Parks.

It was a very warm film, and very unusual.

Now's the part where people come on and tell me I'm wrong!

i saw it in the movies, and had a pretty good time watching it.

"F*ck Jessie Jackson!" lol

All around good flick worth watching at least once or twice. Seen it twice...i could sit through it agian.

i copped it off amazon.com on the cheap for a used copy. laughed my ass off a couple times watching it. altogether i thought it was a great movie. my roommate hates it, but he only seems to like seinfeld and whiny independent movies, so what can ya do?

I'm usually not one to enjoy movies like this, but I got a pretty damn good laugh out of this movie. I'm not sure if I'd see the second one, but I wouldn't be opposed to it if someone owned it or something.
