MAIN RM: TINSEL TOWN!

- GREEN VELVET
(Relief, Chicago, IL) SPECIAL RARE DJ SET! 2:00-
3:00AM
Hype: Green is half of the traditional holiday
color scheme and nobody represents green more
than the windy city's own infamous GV! The
experimental and eccentric, afro wig-wearing
entity we know as Green Velvet - a Cajmere alter
ego, has rocked Fresh Start and Aww Yeah for
previous COK followers. Everybody and their mom
knows the "La La Land" song and it's numerous
remixes! We are stoked to be bringin' this man
back to complete the trilogy of ways he performs:
live PA, djing as Cajmere, and now finally the
harder version DJing as Green Velvet!
History: Green Velvet produced the first release
on the Relief label, "Preacher Man." He followed
up the debut release with "Flash" and "The
Stalker", both of which brought about unexpected
praise and worldwide recognition. In 1997, Green
Velvet's attempt to combine 80s electronic funk
with Chicago's cult of a perfect track led to his
creation, "Answering Machine" - with the more
humorous but rather contagious hook - "I don't
need this shit!" His full length albums "Constant
Chaos" and "Whatever" are funky techno landscapes
filled with a wide variety of soundscapes that
provide humorous lyrics with intense rhythm
patterns to create a colage of respected
material. He continues to release single and tour
globally (see amonly.com we're not kidding global
ppl!!)

-SPACE GIRL
(Hard Beat Records, At Large, NYC/Moscow) LIVE PA
Hype: The queen of acid trance returns to Asylum
for another round of dance floor mayhem! One of
the best sets from Happy Holidayz 2, we knew we
had to have this lady back for an encore this
year. With a near religious fan base it's no
wonder why this lady is in such demand across the
country and beyond! With her maturing sound she
has broadened her appeal to a wider variety of
listeners than ever before. Peep the new stuff on
Topaz!
CD RELEASE PARTY FOR "ALONE on HYPNOTIC
RECORDINGS!
History: She has been profiled and photographed
in some of the largest domestic and international
publications including Details Magazine, Paper
Magazine and Mixer. Space Girl aka Yana Demian
was born in Moscow, Russia and immigrated to New
York City in 1991. Attending and graduating from
the prestigious Julliard School with a major in
classical piano, Space Girl soon found classical
performances lacking in flare and originality,
craving a spotlight of her own. Space Girl
released her first 12" on EDM Records in 1997 and
another double-sided 12" in June 1999 on Blue
Elephant Records. 1999 marked the release of her
first full-length album “Space Girl - Mission
0001” released on Hard Beat Records, followed by
a second full-length release entitled, “Unknown
Planet.”

- MING + FS
(Madhattan Studios, Hell’s Kitchen, NYC) 1:00-
2:00AM
Hype: Ming+FS spend their time converting
skeptics and exciting newcomers by bravely
carving out a space into the landscape that is
future music. For those that don't know, their
unorthodox blend of Jungle, Hip-Hop & Turntablism
blankets the masses with a quality mix of the
known & unknown. Be prepared.

History: The legendary story of Ming and FS as a
team begins in 1996, when the two collided at a
party in Manhattan. Together under the moniker
Lead Foot, they put out several breakbeat tracks,
and eventually opened their own production
studio/label Madhattan Studios in 1997."Bar
Mitzvah Breaks" which DJ Craze used to win two
DMC championships (1999 and 2000) was a product
of this label. Their debut full-length album
Hell's Kitchen, achieved huge critical acclaim.
They've done remixes w/for :puff Daddy,
Aphrodite, Craig David, Glenn Lewis, Lynyrd
Skynyrd and Suzanne Vega. Ming+FS are gearing up
for the release of their fourth full length
album ‘Back to One’ which will be released in
2004. www.mingandfs.com

RAY KEITH
(Dread, Penny Black, UFO, MMI) 1:30-3:00AM
Hype: This man OWNED the dancefloor at the
legendary True event "Hell". He has done remixes
for Moby, Orbital and many others! He plays at
all major parties such as Planet V, Innovation,
World Dance, Helter Skelter in the UK.
History: Began djing in 1989/1990. In 1992 he
worked for Dave at City Sounds in Holborn, moving
onto Black Market Records in Soho. After a time
of producing and re-mixing tunes, Ray decided to
start his own label in early 1994 called Dread
Recordings, followed by Penny Black and UFO
Records later. With prolific tracks like ‘The
Chopper’, ‘You Got Me Burning Up’, ‘Yes Yes’ and
Something Out There on Dread he also managed to
create another anthem for the Drum and Bass
archives; ‘The Renegade Terrorist’ on Moving
Shadow Records. His schedule is hectic with a
string of worldwide tours in America, Europe,
Asia and Australia under his belt. Keeping a
strong working bond with his engineer Nookie from
Good Looking Records for the last ten years,
contributes to making these talented individuals
into a formidable team. "Hard work never hurt
nobody" says Ray and it's easy to see that hard
work also pays off bigtime!

succesful stream of releases on N20,
Phobic "Bitches", and Wikked "The Throw Down"
amongst many others! He's received critial
acclaim from Knowledge Magazine and was even

personal favorite of ours, we are very excited to
bring back this crowd pleaser as a gift to
ourselves and to YOU!

- DJ ODI
(digitalkonfusioin/www.eroticbpm.com/nycjungle.com
/taciturn records, NY) 4:00-5:00AM
The hype: Recently named label head for Digital
Konfusion Recordings, an independant cross-
platform venture. The hectic djing schedule
averages 2 to 3 cities per week, so when
back in New York he works in his home studio and
continues trying to push the boundaries of the
party vibe forward with the rest of the crew! He
also has a new cd dropping on taciturn records
febuary of 2004! And has two shows on
WWW.NYCJUNGLE.COM "THE HIJACK" and "Digital

it out every f'n time!

-Chris Savior
(Y2K, LOC, Global Alliance, www.globalscene.org)
Who is the only Dj to have performed at 7
Eternity Events, you guessed it- Chris Savior. If
there were such a thing as the perfect DJ then
you would fine all the qualities in this man.
Quite possibly the most dangerous Dj to ever tour
the circuits and yet as humble as they come. As
part of the notorious LOC Crew out of NY, Chris
grew up playing alongside some of Upstate, NY's
most respected Dj's to date including T.J.R,
Ralphie C and Brian Paste. His Sixth Sense for
delivering the most quality house available on
vinyl and his turntable wizardry puts him in a
class with only a few others.

- Myke D
(Y2K, Global Alliance, SweatBox,
www.globalscene.org)
Mike Demuth aka Myke D is the hard house A&R from
the Y2K Camp and also the mastermind behind all

our team back in 2000, Soon after he joined the
Eternity All-Stars on Tour and it was only a
short time after he officially became a member of
the Y2K Entertainment DJ crew. Myke D eventually
would become one of the most in demand Djs to
come out of NY and one of the few djs who was
been featured 4 times on one of the most
influential record labels to ever come out of
Chicago, UC Music. Most recently Myke D has been

Hmm what happened to the first thread for this? ah well. I WAS going to goto this tomorrow until I read this on weather.com:

SNOWFALL GREATER THAN 6 INCHES IS QUITE POSSIBLE... WITH SOME AREAS RECEIVING MORE THAN 1 FOOT.

GIVEN THE DURATION OF THIS STORM... TRAVEL WILL BE SLOW AT BEST... AND QUITE DIFFICULT SHOULD HEAVY SNOW OCCUR AS FORECAST....

so yeah i am not going =( I really wanted to too.... James miller junior, ODI, Capital J, green velvet. damn snow ah well.

I love people who have lived in New England their entire lives, and freak out over 6 inches of snow.

GO TO THE STORE AND GET THE BREAD AND MILK, WE'RE BOUND TO BE INDOORS FOR DAYS.

Snow didn't stop j22 and I from hitting up the first HH. If I had any intentions of going to this one, the snow wouldn't hold me back.

But I don't have any intentions of going. =D

Imagine me making this point with rushing people and sirens in the background:

HEY I GUTTA GET SOME BATTERIES AND SANDBAGS AND MILK, SHIT MAKE SURE TO STAY IN YOUR BASEMENTS...

WEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWE

OH SHIT THERES GUNNA BE FIGHT AT WALMART FOR BATTERIES I BETTER GO

*HAT SLIGHTLY BLOWS OFF DUE TO WIN AS I TROT INSIDE*

haha snow whaaaaaaaaat. i remember going to lewiston 4 years ago while it was like white out conditions viva new englad!

I ain't cancelling SHIT

Yea that's right HH3 in full effect. No djs have cancelled as of 2:30AM Saturday morning. In fact we have been making plans for some of them. Some have made their own plans. Prophet from PA got himself a train ticket to avoid driving (hardcore). Green Velvet is ready to train in from DC rather than fly (He is performing @ Cubik in DC tonight) to make sure he gets here... all is good in the hood. Grab your balls (or tits), your snow shovels, and get your ass to this shindig. HH parties rock 'da nasties. Hands down!

well it's easy to say "fuck snow" when a non-driving route is an option. the asylum is a 3+ hour drive as it is and we're expecting 15+ inches of "blizzard-like" snow to dump on us... I wish I could say, "fuck it, I'm hardcore enough to make it out!" and if the train was even an option from LI I would... We shall see I suppose.

Just an FYI... road crews are doing a great job of keeping the highways clear. Because of the storm and the fact it's Saturday, there are very few people out driving. So if you exercise some reasonable caution, you should have no problem driving to/from Worcester for this event.

u ppl ready??

Cuz we're gonna make this show hot no matter what happens. Right now roads in CT and Springfield are reasonably cleared at this time.

Does anyone know what happened to the original thread?? Anyway I edited the title to include all the info. May be there....depending on the roads, and if Alex is still driving up. But I totally understand not going, I'd rather not die on the way to Mass. :)

well, my father's car is in the shop, and my mother's car is rear wheel drive (and therefor shitty to drive in the snow). my dad and i work in the same resturant, and are goin in one car together... so i won't be able to make it up tonight... that, and i have to work a catering gig tomorrow.

i hope everyone that goes has a blast. damn snow.

I know it's too early for any replies, but could some people post a bit of info on how the night went? I really wish I could be there but there's no way I could have swung it with the circumstances =/. Let's hear some reviews, asap...

P.S. BROOKLYN DID YOU MAKE IT?

holy fucking shit balls
ming and fs were unbelievable, no words can describe their set *still in awe*

Yup, Happy Holidays was definitely worth the scary ride in the snow. I think my jaw was dropped down to the floor for ming and fs's entire set. Unbelieveable. MO7S as always had a good set as well. All in all it was a great time, and I'm glad I went. :)
