The following is a letter I sent to the Office of National Drug Control Policy, followed by the reply:

not that i was expecting a different kinda reply or anything, but i was really pissed when i wrote it over a number of things (not all drug related, but it was a way to vent and let the anger flow)
 
Wow, if you wanted to make a difference, you should probably have at least written a letter that reflected you as an intelligent person. Nobody in any position is going to read an expletive filled, badly written letter that was obviously made in anger and haste....

my guess would be you're doing more harm than good. not because you have the wrong ideas, but because you are presenting the RIGHT ideas in a very unintelligent manner.
 
I used to write letters like those when I was younger ......didnt really accomplish anything but it sure made me feel good8)
 
^^^ yeah, i wrote it more to vent than anything else...obviously, letters aren't gonna change their minds either way
