I think it’s the context. I get away with it cuz they’re mates. Same as when I call my Pakistani mates tight and say pakis never want to pay snd always try to haggle. It’s true but said Jokingly
It’s like if u made a joke about me being an ex frack head I’d take it differently depending how u meant it

I was not taking the piss. I broke out of my toxic group of people around me and realized I only followed tate cause they were. I use to hate tate last year.

Now i realize tate is brainwashing people.
 
I have done just that - went and read some HR/support threads, thank you for the good advice :)

And just for the record I was joking/being ironic about closing the thread. It was a joke with my opinion of AT put smack in the middle off it. Joke obviously seemed funny only to me. I am not for censorship.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on in this thread!

I'll just leave it with this - all gypsies are not dishonourable thieves. Fact.

In my subjective experience (which is reasonably extensive), I'd say 50%, minimum, are not. That's it.

Well, have pledged to donate. But while I'm not running down ANYONE who gives aid to those in need, I'm also aware that under Romanian law a business can nominate up to 20% of their tax bill to a charity.

So depending upon the turnover of their businesses, it might not actually cost them a penny.

That doesn't mean it's not the right thing to do but people presume that they are giving $200,000 of their post-tax income and unless they state that fact, I would reasonably ask how much they are taking out of their own pockets.

In short, a bit of a PR stunt unless they have quietly been giving 20% of their taxes to nominated charities for years...

I also recall him pledging $100 million to set up a charity to 'protect men from false accusations'. As yet no details of that have emerged.

I have no way of knowing if these statements were made in good faith, but his record isn't exactly spotless when it comes to making such pledges.
